Line services

The work, itemised.

Available inside a program or as standalone work for properties we already maintain.

01

Weekly lawn maintenance

The base of every program. St. Augustine held at 3½ inches, Zoysia at 2, Bahia at 4. Cut direction alternates each visit. Where turf runs to a hard surface we cut a true vertical edge; where it runs to a bed we cut a soft trench line and hold it.

Visits are scheduled by weekday, not by date, so you always know which morning the truck arrives. In the slower months from December to February the interval stretches to ten days rather than dropping visits entirely.

02

Fertilisation & turf health

Six applications a year timed to Lee County's fertiliser ordinance, which prohibits nitrogen and phosphorus between 1 June and 30 September. That restriction is the reason so many lawns here go backwards in summer — the program has to be front-loaded in spring and finished properly in autumn.

Included: slow-release granular feed, chinch bug and sod webworm treatment, broadleaf and sedge control, and soil pH testing once a year. We apply under our own FDACS commercial applicator licence.

03

Hedge, palm & ornamental care

Podocarpus, clusia, viburnum and ficus shaped by hand on a rotation rather than sheared flat every visit. Palms trimmed to a nine-and-three profile — we do not hurricane-cut, because stripping fronds weakens the tree before storm season, not after.

Bougainvillea, crotons, ixora and the rest get cut back on their own schedule so they flower when they are supposed to.

04

Irrigation management

Monthly zone-by-zone run test, head cleaning and realignment, and controller programming to your address's permitted watering days. Broken heads and cut lateral lines repaired on the spot; anything at the pump or backflow we flag and quote separately.

05

Mulch, beds & seasonal colour

Two mulch installs a year — pine bark or eucalyptus, to depth, pulled back off trunks and stems. Bed lines re-cut each spring. Annual rotations at entries and pool decks three times a year if you want them.

06

Storm preparation & recovery

Canopy thinning and loose-material clearing before the season. After a named storm, clients under contract are worked in a published order — full-grounds first, then by length of tenure — and we tell you your position rather than making you call.

07

One-off renovation

Sod replacement, bed rebuilds, and taking over a property that has been let go. Quoted flat. We only take renovation work on properties we will be maintaining afterwards, because otherwise it does not hold.

The fleet

Machines chosen for the cut, not the clock.

Everything is commercial grade and on a documented maintenance interval. A dull blade tears St. Augustine instead of cutting it, and the tips go tan within a day.

Stand-on mowers

48-inch decks on hydraulic drive. Short wheelbase and a standing platform mean tight turns around palms and pool cages without tearing the turf, and the operator can step off at a bed line instead of reversing across it. Two in the fleet.

Sit-on zero-turns

60-inch decks for the half-acre-plus lawns on the river and in Gateway. Suspension seat and a wide stance keep the deck level, which is what actually produces an even stripe. Blades changed out mid-week, not mid-month. Three in the fleet.

Contractor string trimmers

Straight-shaft, commercial-displacement trimmers running 0.095 twisted line. Straight shafts reach under hedges and over seawall caps where a curved shaft cannot, and the heavier line holds an edge against Bahia and bahiagrass runners. One per crew member.

Crew Two people per route, no rotating labour

Watch

A trimmer pass at ground level.

The edge is where a property is won or lost. This is what a straight-shaft trimmer held at the right angle actually leaves behind.

Trim height matched to deck height. No scalping at the edge.

Plainly

What we don't do.

It saves everyone a phone call. We are happy to recommend people for all of these.

  • — Tree removal or any work requiring a climber or lift
  • — Hardscape: pavers, walls, outdoor kitchens
  • — Landscape design and installation from scratch
  • — Pool decks, cages, or pressure washing
  • — Commercial or HOA common-area contracts
  • — One-off cuts for properties we do not maintain
